I hope this message finds you well. For those here on the east coast, the groudhog’s prediction said an early spring and I, for one, certainly hopes that Punxsutawney Phil is right! I could really use some sunshine and warmth right about now!

Being on the brink of Spring means that sun and fun are right around the corner, but it also marks the beginning of the 2013 Camp Erin season! For those of us who have sent our children to Camp Erin in the past, we know just how important this really is!!!  It means that children across the country who have lost someone important in their lives will meet and connect with countless other kids who “feel their pain”. It means that thousands of families will see the difference that Camp Erin makes in their lives. It means that the mission of Erin Metcalf, her family and The Moyer Foundation will continue to provide the much-needed support and love we all need to grieve in a healthy way.

The Moyer’s Foundation’s “Fund A Camper” Campaign is in full swing and I encourage you to help in any way you can. If you can donate, great! If you cannot, please send this along to friends and family who may be able to help. And if you know of kids in your community who have lost loved ones recently, please tell their parents and encourage them to go Camp Erin! I know that personally, I have 6 children that I am referring to this year’s Philadelphia Camp.
